About Ric

Back in 1992 Ric brainstormed a way to lock a software license to a specific PC, in those days he was a Mac guy. His simple idea is now a mainstream component of most copy protection methods from Microsoft’s Activation to Apples
iTunes music copy control software.

He has been a CEO and Board Member of multiple companies and now serves as
CTO for Uniloc in the US.

Ric is also an avid inventor, from his latest invention to fix blind-spots for automobile side mirrors to his next big thing called
Logarex (a logarithmic compression system), Ric is actively inventing and
prototyping with at least one or two patent applications or provisional patents being drafted every month or so.
